A Joyful Christmas!

Hi!

From our family to yours, a merry and joyful Christmas, immersed in the joy of knowing that the saviour not only  was born, but died, raised up from the dead and lives again and forevermore!

Luke 2:8-11
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Saviorhas been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Playing with my camera on a snowy night...

Hi!
Sofia and I had a blast playing and taking photos with the snow falling heavily outside:)

Do not ask me how I did this, lol! All I did was to set the camera in AV, and move it around when taking the photo... not technical at all!

Christmas Letter in a Box

 Hi!
I love traditions, mainly at Christmas. I grew up with them, and I am enjoying little by little to create some for Sofia. This one is a pretty  easy one, I loved when I saw it here .
A letter for her, written by mommy and daddy, talking about the year we had with her, what we look forward to the next year,  etc.
Instead of a small box like my inspiration post used, I used these cute gift card holders I found at Michael's. It is perfect, as I can have one for me and one for Daddy to write Sofia.

After the letter is written, fold it carefully inside and hand it on the tree for the little done to read o Christmas morning.
So sweet!

Isaiah 9:6 Ornaments

Hi!
This year we started a little tradition for Sofia.
I had these porcelain ornaments  I bought years ago and always use in my Christmas decor.
I gave her a permanent marker, we read Isaiah 9:6
"For to us a child is born,

to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
She then wrote them in  each one of the ornaments.
Every year I intend to  read the verse and she will keep on writing Jesus names as she grows in stature, in knowledge and understanding.
It wil be cute to see her printing getting better and  better and changing as well.
Then she put them in the tree.
A cute little tradition is born in our home!

Easy Pom Pom, Cute Gift Wrap

Hi!
I like creative ways of wrapping.
This year I made some pom pom with yarn I bought at the thrift store for 1 dollar.
To make pom poms one doesn't need any fancy pom pom maker. Nope.
I used cut piece of a wrapping paper roll.
Follow me:
Wrap around and remove from roll.
Tie a smaller piece of year around the yarn ball very tightly

cut the edges

Trim the pom pom to make it rounder

And make some gifts prettier!
