Wood Slab House Number

Last december our beloved maple tree in the front yard had to be cut off , for our deep sadness.....big slabs were available  and I kept one until I decided what to do.
Bible verse? Funny saying? Abstract painting?
I confess I wanted to use if foe something but was a bit lazy...
decided for this...

ENTER.... chalk!!

Our house #, in the front porch, right by the door....love it!

  1. Love that! You're giving me ideas for a new house no. for our cottage! I picked up the no.'s at the dollar store, painted them red to match the "lobsters" we have for shutters, and one of the numbers broke in half, go figure! I've just been inspired to do a little thinking "outside the box".
