I also used them along with some cute scrapbook paper to embellish dollar store small notebooks and put them in the loot bags for Sofia's butterfly party.
I needed a way to attach a colouring pencil to the front of it, like grown ups notebooks sometimes have the fancy pens attached.Got it?
The jumbo straw solution was a light bulb moment, so proud of myself :0)
They are really long , so I could cut 4 little pieces out of one.
After cutting the desired length, I closed the bottom with hot glue.
Attached the straw pencil holder to with hot glue gun.Yes, glue gun IS a mom's best friend!
Each guest got one notebook and the pencil box, very useful for little creative souls who, at this age, love to "write"!
