Another cutlery box transformed

A while ago I bought 2 ugly cutlery boxes at the thrift store and painted and distressed them to serve as storage for Sofia's knick knacks and hair clips.
I made one in white and the other in pink.
But for a while now I have added blue elements to her room, as she started loooving blue!
The other day I found this small cutlery box and I knew what colour  it was going to be painted ..,yes, blue.
I love the 3 colours together
Here it is...before
During...I used Krylon spray paint
Before sanding...
After!
 After after!:)

A cute detail of her room, as you can see, lots of blue:)

  5. Beautifully done. I love this about decorating...particularly decorating thriftily...how over time, elements come together. Ideas morph into better ones. It's a lovely process.

I want a cutlery box. I just have to say. I've never seen one at my local thrift store...I think I need to expand my thrifting horizons. (= Have a wonderful day. Lynaea @ EveryDayBloom.com

Oh, I ALWAYS find cutlery boxes in my thrifty stores ( we have 3 in my area). Next time I find one will think of you:)

But keep looking for some in your local store or yard sales, I am sure you will find one!
