From shabby ugly to shabby Chic

I LOOVE hunting for cheap cheap stuff at thrift stores, and when I was redoing my daughter's bedroom (to come!) I needed a place to put her ever growing collection of hair bows and clips.

At value village, I found 2 old cutlery boxes like this one for 3 dollars each (sorry don't have the before pictures of the ones I did but they were (ugly) just like this one I swear!:0)

After a little TLC, I mean sanding, spray painting, coat of polyurethane for protection and again sanding the edges to give them an " antique" look, these babies came out like this:

Oh, so chic!
