Fall Wreath I

Hi!

Fall is here with all its gorgeous colours and fresh air, I love this time of the year!
I just finished my fall wreath and love it!

I wanted a simple and clean one, not very "busy" looking. I had this wooden B ( from a  BABY wooden craft I bought when Sofia was born and I never used). The other B I used for my Christmas wreath  last year, so why not use this other B for the fall? I have seen lovely wreaths out there using the family letter...we are the "BEE" family, so...

Material:

1. A big wooden letter
2. Orange ( more ochre colour, actually) felt - I think used 8 rectangles
3. Hot glue gun and sticks
4. Jute yarn
5. Twig wreath

To make the felt circles I do this: cut small rectangles out of the felt

Fold in half..

Fold it in half again...

Cut it in a semi circle in the felt

Now you have the circle ( opened) felt triangle ( folded) ready to be glued! I find this easier than  measuring and circles with a glass!

Cut the bottom of it ( the tippy one) and use the hot glue to attach to the letter

Start glueing them  to the letter

 Almost there...

 There! Our B!!

To hang it, I wanted to skip the ribbon /burlap duo, so I used jute yarn

To hand the wreath itself I used a bunch of jute yarn , put underneath the wreath and tied 2 knots

Tied a circle as a hanger

B at the door...

 LOVE these duo..felt and wood...

Hum..it was, IS  beautiful, but a little too sterile ( maybe not), so I decided to give it something else...check  here!

NOW it is ready, our fall wreath!!

HAPPY FALL!
