Sweet Lamp Simple Revamp

Hi!

A while ago I found this desk lamp at a garage sale, in a very good condition and, for me I liked with extra love because I can see ( can you??)  vintage 50's flair. It is metal, it works,  but the brown colour it was too "colourless" to me.
Because it is going in the craft room, and I have accents in red among other colours, this  was my choice for the "revamp of the lamp"!
First things first, so I primed it with my reliable and easy to use spray paint primer.

Next: 2 coats of Rustoleum red spray paint

It sits in my craft room now, and it gives a so needed spot light for me and my work station, oh, so much for around....6 bucks ? ( 3 for the lamp plus paint)... nothing can beat this!

Thrifted Treasures II

After thrifted treasures I...comes thrifted treasures II, right?

Perfect leather case for my small Bible, my pen and my little notebook

All these above are from a garage sale...I spent 13 dollars total....YAY!
-A beautiful vintage desk lamp I will give some fresh coat of spray paint and put in my craft room.
-8 wine glasses,  10 cute little glass bottles perfect for my beads
-a new curves gym bag ( with an insert to put the sneakers without messing uo with your clothes inside, so cool! it was 1.50 !)
-a glazing/marinating bottle, with measurements, perfect for barbecue.
-a metal yellow box  to put my beading tools, ah, one dollar!

it is beautiful, vintage and it works, for 3 bucks!
These are from a second hand local store called Previously loved ( love this name)...
a Mary Kay case that I will use for my tweezers. And I will never loose my small mirror again!
This cute box frame is already distressed (!!) and has a lovely hanger. The creepy  dry flower is going out of course!

A very new CK wallet , just beautiful , for 4 bucks!
This lovely dictionary will come very handy in a few years of Sofia.

AAAh, I  was so happy to buy this drawer divider for 2. 99! Sadness overcame me very rapidly...when I got home it does not fit ANY of my ( many ) drawers...well, will  find some use for it, I am sure.

Gorgeous leather sandals....I also love the metal necklace for 99 cents!
Now, my pride and joy for this week's thrift  tour:

Still in the original packaging  a new IPAD case for 2.99
I searched online and it costs  ahem 69.95 dollars, yikes!
I rest my case.( haha no joke!)
Thrifting is the way , gals!

Thrifted Treasures I

I have lots of treasures that I have been buying these couples of weeks but did not have the time to sit here and show you!
So not it 's time!
The first two items are from a garage sale ...this day was sooo funny. My husband says I am crazy LOL... am I?
I took Sofia early in the morning, as she loves garage sales like me, drove to the other end of the city and found nothing worthy on those garage sales.
As I was driving home empty handed and disappointed,  right next to our house, I spotted ....a garage sale, haha my own neighbour!
I was a bit skeptical that  I would fine anything worthy but VOILA, for my utter surprise AND joy I found 2 interesting ( and useful ) pieces... AND I spend...( please I need rumbling drums) 60 cents!!!!
The brand new pop corn maker was 50 cents, NEW, my kitchen accent colour and needed as Sofia loves pop corn and my microwave is broken...welcome home red beauty!

This  different scrabble game is awesome...all Sofia has to do is roll the device to make words!! PERFECT for kindergarden time! and...10 cents!!!

LOVE my winter cap found at Vallue Village.

For 99 cents each this threesome has lots of potential..can you see paint and glazing ? birdies as cute as they are are out and I am already thinking what I will put inside...humm...
THIS desk is my pride and joy! Chrome, vintage, sturdy, so 50's  and in PERFECT condition.
Cost: 22.50 dollars...sigh....
It is becoming an addiction...soon I will need bed rest, behaviour  therapy and heavy medication but I love it! Lol
