Easy Antique Patina

One of the reasons I love thrift stores:

A jewel waiting to be transformed...I must say, the gold patina was not so bad, could work for some, but I love white...sorry ...
Some white paint...
Glazing: half glazing medium-half black chart paint

120 grit sand paper...

Looks just the way I like: old and charming..full of "imperfections", oh I love imperfections, mainly the ones I made ...

Found it a nice place on my mantle..feeling good!

Fern plus chalk = Beautiful table arrangement

Wanted to decorate my dinning table for my brother in law 's visit and wanted flowers! Because he is amazing and has this gorgeous flower shop in Toronto.
BUT, could not find any flowers that would measure up to the occasion...
Saw this beautiful fern...and so cheap! 12 bucks!
Problem, late at night, got home no nice container, only the ugly plastic container it came in...
SOLUTION: chalkboard paint...
a not very creative writing..FERN...and my table looks amazing!
Detail: could not wait for the 24 hours drying time and it worked fine.

note: my florist BIL loves it!

Hello craft world!

YES! it is official! My years of hard work payed off and I have a real crafter/artist right here in my house!!
My little Sofia made this cute birdie the other day while I was cleaning my craft room..I saw her getting lots f stuff in my boxes but did not care to ask what for or check...after 10 munites she came up with this! She says it is to make for the little birdies we think are dead (in here). She got sad about it....
No photos of the making of , sorry, little crafter  need to get to know the process..:0)

Isn't it and she cute???

Summer...

In my backyard.....

..on a sad note...Sofia cried a lot when we realized the birdies would never be born...:0(

Still here!

It has been a while since I blogged..sorry...
I have been so busy, soccer, summer, my dear brother in law visit, family weekend with in-laws and of course, crafting!
Have so many projects already done, just did not have the time to sit, pick photos, write, etc...I hope you understand.

Will do this SOON, promise!
