Painted Metal Headboard

Hi!

I have had this single bed headboard for a while, as I bought it in a thrift store for my daughter's bedroom and never used, as it was way too low. But I love the look. Well, not so keen in the shinny gold colour....So I used my secret weapon for  annoying patinas...spray paint!

For some reason, I did not take pictures of the "before", and I apologize for this, but I took pictures of another ( double bed) identical headboard ( that btw I also bought in a thrift store and did not use...yet!) for "the before and after ".

I used Krylon primer -white- and Krylon Ivory matte, 2 coats

I am using it now as a storage type of thing for some of my fabric in my craft room, but still not sure what I will use it for sure, I just like the shape, colour and details of  it to part it now..:0)

The Mystery of the Missing Followers...booooo

Hi!!

If anyone there can help me...suddenly and without notice my friends left me and I am heartbroken..snif sniff...

My list of followers , and they are 34 ( THANK YOU!)  do not seem to be anywhere to be seen on my blog...I can still read at the dashboard that they are there, but can't see them!

How this happened? virus/ hackers? friendship over? 

Does anyone out there who uses blogger has had this happened before?

Diaries Face Lift

Hi!

I am not sure if many or any or some of you noticed that I changed the overall look of the Diaries. I must say, it feels really good to have done it, and I am so happy and proud of myself...because I did it all by myself , no help from hubby or from any designer,  and, the best part,  I did not ruined my layout page forever and I did not deleted any essential JAVA code!! LOL

You know, I am NOT a tech girl, I am over 40 and not up to  date with every new thing out there. Sometimes I have the clear impression that my 4 year old uses the ipad with more ease than I do!

And I have a tendency of messing up things ( files), but this time I didn't and I can't believe I made it work!!!

It took me the whole day, but voila, i made it through...

I would love to hear from you what do you think and ask for one opinion...one of the blog looks I used for the weekend did not have the  notebook page as the background, was just plain white, very chic and clean, I think. But today I found this very in tune" with my blog free background here and decided to try.

It is cute but I am not sure if the total white look isn't better than this new one.

SOOOO, if someone out there want to give an honest and unbiased opinion I would love to hear !!!
