DIY Up-cycled Travelers Louis Vuitton Notebook

Hi Everyone,

As many people STILL out there...I love paper! I am a paper girl, love to write down things and doodle, but NOT, NEVER in "e-things" such as Ipads, Iphonesso on and so forth...no...I love paper, oh yeah!

My most faithful companion is of course an agenda, my sweet and so dreamy Filofax Malden..this baby keeps me organized, mentally sane and stable:)

I also love travelers notebooks, but I decided not to buy one..why not make one?
Traveler Notebooks are  just a leather ( or fabric or sturdy card stock, or faux leather or anything!) cover and a series of elastics that keep your small notebooks inside attached and removable.

So to make your own it is very easy and you will need:

1. Piece of leather, real or fake, or any material fit for a sturdy case- in my case I used a faux LV material from a thrifted  bag I cut up:)
2. Embroidery needle
3. Skinny Elastic ( found at dollar stores)
4. Scissors
5. Your notebooks or whatever you want inside
6. Cute charm - mine are from Michael's

 Cut to fit

 Mark up holes spots
 Use needle to thread elastic

 Tie inside

 Tie them all
 Look from outside
Attach notebooks: i gave also my small New Testament inside

 Oh so pretty and small:)

So....Now I want a big one too! lol
These notebooks are from Michales, $1.50 each

 A happy paper girl!

Playing with Chalk Markers

Hi!
After being away for a while ( busy, busy, busy...and busy), I am slowly getting used to posting here again:). Not lazy, just busy.
I made some little stuff playing around wit chalk markers I got for my birthday,  and the ones below are my favs.

Cheap coasters form thrift stores, chalk paint and a fun playful couple of coasters are ready.
I love my markers! Some  new wooden tags to organize Sofia's toys, very welcome and necessary
And finally, my favourite, my fall mural, love it!!

Fridge Organization on the Cheap

 Hi!
I don't know about you ladies, but for me as a house wife one of the most irritating tasks is to clean the fridge. ARGH! I "H word" it!
Taking everything out, taking all the shelves out, etc etc etc ETC!!
I "H  WORD" it!!
Finding these mats at my grocery store for 97 cents it was a light bulb moment for me!!
WHY NOT???!!
I still have to clean my fridge thoroughly once on a while, but the trivial cleaning shelves from spills, etc, it is thousand times easier now! Just remove the mats, rinse, and mats back!

And it adds a punch of color too, so I am a happy me, a color loving girl!

Quick Organization ll: Playroom Thrifty Organization in 5 minutes

It always seemed logical to me: cleaning up the playroom should be an easy task for Sofia. Just put the toys back to their storage after she was finished with them.
But frustration after frustration she never did it! Poor thing, she tries, but never seems to put things back to the right places.
Now that she can read I gave in to the idea of using tags ( it seemed a waste for me) and it is working!
A dollar pack of foam shapes from dollar store and  a sharpie pen. Nothing fancy but effective.
She can't have the excuse she can't read it!

From Faux Bubble Gum Machine to Real Cookie jar!

I made this bubble gum machine for a friends party last year, and after the party has been long gone, I love the way she kept using it!!

Cookie Jar!!!

Quick Organization l: Entryway Closet Thrifty Organization in 5 minutes

Some plastic clips from the dollar store and sharpie pen helped me to keep my winter gear organized, as it was driving me crazy! "PEOPLE" in this household (daddy and daughter) NEVER knew where to put them..."which box??!!?"

Now these "PEOPLE"  know! hahah
