Fabric Slouchy Hat Tutorial

Hi!
Many of you know, I have a small hat business - KOKAR- and I love my craft!

Sharing with you gals how I make them, not hard at all, just time consuming, but this is fun too!
Relaxing too!

I make colorful and funky crochet hats, but people seem to love my fabric slouches.
I usually work with warm and cozy fabric with a stretch and I use my serger, but you can use a regular sewing machine too!
Fold your stretchy fabric in two  (lengthwise)
Cut a rectangle measuring 23 in width and 11 in height.

Using a serger or a zig zag stitch sew sides together leaving 3 or 4 cm without sewing

. Turn inside out and sew this part. It will be the fold on the  bottom
Final measure will be 22 inches x 10 inches for a hat that fits most adults and teens and has a small slouch.
Fold the fabric in two and cut this shape
open. Sew the sides and leave the middle open

Now bring the sewing sides together so they face each other.
It will turn to this shape
Sew the open part ( looks like a half moon)

Done!

Another one , this time I cut a more round shape on top

The girl and her Kokar hat :)
You can also add a fur pompom...how cuuute?

Up cycled fur, Up cycled beauty!

Hi!

For a year now I have been , no pun intended, hooked by crocheting and knitting. And for some months I have been hooked to upcycling fur.
I added these pruducts to the fascinators I sell on my Etsy shop and I must say  just ove them.
Just take an old fur coat or stol, rip it off and re use it in all its beauty.

These are my last ones, so tres chic:)

Rainbow Loom Crochet Hook Grip

Hi!

I like those crochet hooks with a thick body, but they are a bit more pricey than the regular cheap ones, so , until now, I was ok using my skinny ones.
I said UNTIL NOW, because thanks to my very sweet and creative daughter now I have  THIS:
Love my "new" crochet hook!
She made me on her rainbow loom this amazing little thing! !
She said she used this tutorial HOW TO MAKE  A PENCIL GRIP , so I believe her.
We adapted it to a hook and it worked!
I am a total dumb when the matter is rainbow loom stuff, I think everything is so complicated:)

Anyways, I love my crochet hook now!

Simple Kit Kittridge Crochet Beret

Hi!

I love crochet and despite not being a pro , I made this very quick beret for Sofia's doll very quickly.
No patterns, just made up as I went hehe

Starting with a magic circle and working around with half double crochets.

She loves it!
