DIY Up-cycled Travelers Louis Vuitton Notebook

Hi Everyone,

As many people STILL out there...I love paper! I am a paper girl, love to write down things and doodle, but NOT, NEVER in "e-things" such as Ipads, Iphonesso on and so forth...no...I love paper, oh yeah!

My most faithful companion is of course an agenda, my sweet and so dreamy Filofax Malden..this baby keeps me organized, mentally sane and stable:)

I also love travelers notebooks, but I decided not to buy one..why not make one?
Traveler Notebooks are  just a leather ( or fabric or sturdy card stock, or faux leather or anything!) cover and a series of elastics that keep your small notebooks inside attached and removable.

So to make your own it is very easy and you will need:

1. Piece of leather, real or fake, or any material fit for a sturdy case- in my case I used a faux LV material from a thrifted  bag I cut up:)
2. Embroidery needle
3. Skinny Elastic ( found at dollar stores)
4. Scissors
5. Your notebooks or whatever you want inside
6. Cute charm - mine are from Michael's

 Cut to fit

 Mark up holes spots
 Use needle to thread elastic

 Tie inside

 Tie them all
 Look from outside
Attach notebooks: i gave also my small New Testament inside

 Oh so pretty and small:)

So....Now I want a big one too! lol
These notebooks are from Michales, $1.50 each

 A happy paper girl!

Advent Calendar

Hi!
I love the Christmas Season. And despite loving to decorate, visit friends, shopping, carols, hyms,  I really love about Christmas season for one and only reason: Jesus. Our Saviour.
And what I cherish the most and take very seriously is to show and teach Sofia the importance of giving Jesus the most important place during this Season.
So, every year my priority s tohave the advent Calendar we do every year since she was 2 erady by December  1st.
And this is the first "decor" piece to go up in the house.
every year I change it a bit and this year I changed it a lot.
Because I found this scrapbook paper among my stuff (??!!) and couldn't believe I forgot I had it!
I used it in a scrapbook frame I have and it was perfect to hide the daily Bible Verses reading we do with Sofia every night of December!

We use the wonderful devotional from  Good Morning Girls for kids, just so sweet and simple and  full of wonderful truth!

Instead of envelops in the rail this year I used small bags on  the window sill.
Inside, pieces of the Nativity or little gifts for Sofia.

She looks forward every night to her reading, prayer and opening of the bags, of course:)

Lingerie Shower I

Hi!
A while ago a friend from Brazil asked me to help her with some little things for a lingerie shower she was going to throw for a friend over there. I surely said yes!

How beautiful!
She wanted  the theme to be something around pin ups, what a great idea!
We bought these pin up girl water labels on Etsy ( VixxenDigitalDesigns)  - so perfect- and used them in the invitations, bottles, and keepsakes, how sexy :)

The wine bottles were dressed with scrapbook paper and some cute/sexy lace. Wine, someone?
And how cute is this laced nail polish? We bought these cheap white tint metal vases from dollar store and filled them with lip shaped candy...yummy!
A very feminine shaped old fashion coke bottle needs some lace, don't ya think?

Lollypop chocolate kisses made by Carol!! smuck!!

Exclusive and most yummy Brazilian sweet treats..."brigadeiros" made with condensed milk. Just perfect. Made by Carol from "Brigadeiros by Carol". Yummy to the max!!
 Sexy cokes hahaha
This is the  decor the  very talented hosts ( Carolina  and Lindoura O'Neil)   put together so elegantly. How feminine, chic and sexy!
We also printed some cute sexy quotes  and appropriate Bible verses ( SOS of course!)  and put them on cards for the girls to read and meditate on them :)
I am sure the bride-to-be and her girlfriends had a great time and I am glad!!!

Let him kiss me with the kisses
of his mouth, for your love is more delightful than wine

Some little things for a lingerie shower

Hi!
A friend of mine asked me to help prepare some items for a lingerie shower she is hosting for a friend.
She needed not to ask twice, as I love to do this little things.
The theme is related to pin ups, so I bought on Etsy ( Vixxxen Digital Design) , water labels that can double as anything! I also used them in the invitations I made. How cute is that?

And why not a sexy one bottle? haha. Anxiously waiting for photos of the bash to share other decor ideas with you all!
