I am  also in  love this free photo editor  a friend sent me ! Fotor! So easy to work with and som many possibilities!!

Retro Style Jewelry: Up-cycled fur and pearls

Hi!

I just finished this set for my shop Kokar. I have a craft fair on Saturday and I am so pleased that I finished this piece late last night.
I used up-cyced rabbit fur and pearls for the necklace and I love the retro feel!
Add the hair comb to match and there you have  ... pure 50's glamour!

An Easy Craft Fair "Banner"

I wanted a nice , quick and charming banner for my table at the craft fair and after a  little brainstorm and almost no elbow grease I have one and I love the result.

I bought wooden letters at Michael's and first spray painted them red.

 I used milk paint that I have purchased a while ago at the thrift store and never used.

 Mixed both for a muted greeny blue

 Some light  sanding, gel stain, wiping and I had this result:

Shabby and old looking, I like it!

I used E-600 glue to attach tem to a piece of drift wood that I already had and It gave it an even more primitive and "nature" look, juts as I wanted!

Adding Colour to Thrift Store Crates

Hi!

 I was looking for some shelving units to display my mason jars in my table at the craft fairs.

Did not hve much look finding those shelving units or anything like it, but found these crates at the thrift store for $1.99 each. A bit pricey I thought, but they were perfect!

Started out with  one coat of Krylon spray paint ( Cerulean Blue) .Very plain..no charm! This left them begging for something else! Not to worry...

Adding my walnut gel stain

I left the stain longer  on the corners before wiping in order to have a more concentrated colour on those sides

Still deciding  if I should attach them on top of each other or not...For now they are loose. I used them last week and they worked that  way. Nobody knocked them down. 

Another big win  for thrift stores, uh?

Restoring a Thrifted Mirror

Hi!

I got this mirror from the thrift store for $ 3.99 and I think it is a perfect one to use in my craft table at the craft fairs. Love the shape. I love everything oval. For  my customers to see how pretty they are with my hair accessories:)

Quick sanding and 2 coats of Krylon spray paint

Wine Box Revamped

Hi!

I had this sticker made by Vistaprint as part of a package ( cards and banner)  and kinda did not know what to do with it. (!!!??!)

The I had the idea of refinishing and old wine box I had and make it my tool/money box for the Farmer's Market. 

I sanded, spray painted "Celery, did a light distressing and put the stick on. That easy. I am so sorry I forgot to take a "before" photo. It was black.

I now have a money box ! Bring on the money then lol!

Yellow Cutlery Box

As I tweak my craft table presentation at the Farmer's Market on an ongoing basis, I decided to try using my revamped cutlery boxes as displays. I Just finished a blue one, and now this yellow one that came with a bonus I did not notice when I bought it at my favourite thrift store. $ 3.99. I doubles as a Music Box. Very cute and sweet sound.

This is why yellow is my favourite colour since forever. Isn't it beautiful?

I was like this. I Love the hardware  but had a fail idea to remove them to paint the box. Not a good idea. Two of them broke, so I was forced to remove all of them. Sad moment.

But it turned out perfect anyways. Light sanding to start with, two coast of Sun Yellow Spray paint, some sanding on the edges and that was it.
