From Plastic Slinky to Modern Pumpkin

So...here I was, at the messy playroom trying to tidy up and getting stuff that Sofia doesn't play with any longer.

I was about to throw this silly slinky in the trash can with gusto,but when I looked at it again, I saw a pumpkin! haha , yes, I did!

Simple Fall Wreath

Hi Everyone!

Fall is here, my favourite Season...so much beauty around.

My wreath for this year is a very simple one, contrary to the one last year..:) made with two thrifted goodies from Value  Village ( Canadian Savers..what not to love???)

I just took both and attached with a nylon thread , so I can use both components again somewhere else later...and ready!

Just added some burlap to my table decor...using all of it!!

DIY Chevron Burlap

Hi!

I wanted a a chevron pattern burlap for my fall wreath, but did not want to buy one . So...spray painting  

to the rescue!

 Leftover burlap, duct tape , scissor and spray paint.

 I tested on a small piece first. It worked!

 Now to the bow..

I love the pop of colour!

Not Just a Housewife

Our home this fall

Hi! 

I love fall, and of course, love decorating my home for fall. 

And it is ready:)

This year I almost did not spend any $$$. Just reused and updated things  I already had around...yay!

Lots of things from my backyard too, after all it is FALL!

I love my table decor. Used crates I revamped a while ago and use as display in my craft fairs  things from las year and my twine crafts I made years ago. Oh, and lots of twigs from my backyard!

oh..I am in love with my wreath...

 My  red frame broke..so I am using it ike this, until I get it fixed ( hubby, where are you??)

 These pumpkins were on my mantle last year..this year, new spot:) 

..for the Lord is good!!!
