Revamping a bag

Hi!

When Sofia was born she got this little bag from the Community Health nurse, and I never used it. Just found it lost in one of my drawers the other day and the size is perfect for her to carry her Bible. But I wanted something less politically correct and how can I say, more... girly...and cute....? like ...her?

I had this yo-yo's and the solution was easy and quick. I stitched them to the bag and with a fabric paint give it a finishing touch. 

She approved it!

Prayer sticks

Hi!

I just made these "prayer sticks" for Sofia . A helpful tool to make her organize her ( cute) little prayers better :0)

At every prayer we take 2 or 3 sticks for her to add to her traditional usual requests.

Useful tip if you dye your hair at home!

 Hi!

I don't know about you , but EVERY single time that I dye my hair at home (should I be doing this?) I mess up my poor nails in the process, despite always wearing gloves and being very, very  careful.

Well, last sunday I came up with this very useful idea and it worked!!!!!!! CLEAN CLEAN nails after finishing dying my hair ( yes, I have grey roots and I, ahem, "dislike" them....a lot!)

I put loads of moisturizing cream( cheapest one I had) inside my gloves, right on the tips of my fingers and that is it!

Tiny Shaker Glitter Storage

I always wanted to do this, but had never found these little guys. I finally found them at Michael's and bought some ( need more!).

 My little glitter  current storage is cute but quite non- practical, specially when the crafter using glitter most of the times is 4 years old haha!

Running to Michael's to get more! AND it looks so beautiful!

Green Onion Steady Supply!

WhenI saw this in Pinterest I knew I had to try it..and works!

yes, never again I will be buying green onions!

Just do not throw the white ends in the garbage after using them. Simply put them in water and exposed to lots of light, and soon, very soon the green  starts to grow like crazy, and better, when you cut it to use, and  it grows again, never stops! And I also like the nice scent it gives.

Just remember to change the water often and you are in for a steady supply of fresh green onions!
