Craft Room Decor

Hi!
I just finished this embroidered hoop to decorate my crfat room.
I found this pattern a while ago in the net and loved it...and I added the  "craft room" saying to it. I am so sorry Ican not find the source again. I want to give credit to the pattern, but can not seem to find it again:(

I was lucky enough to find this big hoop at the thrift store for $2.99! LUCKY!

Complete craft room coming soon..:)

Key holder form my little girl's drawing

Hi!
Sofia has so many cute drawings that she  has been doing since she was really young, honestly, tons, so I decided to transform one of them in a little gift to me . Through embroidery.
I traced her design to the fabric and tried to replicate exactly what she had made.
For the yellow face (??!!) I used a marker

I decided to make a small key holder

So, I cut it, sew a back to it and stuffed the little dolly

Awww, soooo cuuute!

An Easy DIY Embroidery Tin

Now that I decided that embroidery is  one of my favourite crafts to play with, along  came a DIY mini embroidery kit:
A secret, gals: every time I go to the thrift store I search for these tins, as they are sold for pennies ( usually $.39 or $.49 cents)  and are always useful for something, love them!
So, with my tin i had and all my material:

I used hot glue to attach the felt and the wide elastic  to the tin

A little spray paint + sanding doesn't hurt at all, uh?
A embroidery tin is ready and it's been very used lately this little thing!
A thing that pleases me about it: it looks like something my dear grandma would have had or used, and that is a sweet thought to me!

Love Map

Hi!
As I mentioned here, I am totally "IN LOVE" with embroidery and can not stop making stuff:)
I decided to do something with the LOOOVE theme so appropriate for Valentine's, and a nice idea came quickly.
I like it so much I think I will start making some to put in my Etsy shop! For international lovers like myself:)
As I am from Brazil and my hubby is from Canada, this self explanatory love story craft came about:
 Americas map printed from internet
Cheapest way to transfer: tape and a window on a bright day!
 done!
Stitch, stitch, stitch, stitch.......AND stitch some more....
 Two hearts....
Love in America!

I recently discovered another lovely craft, embroidery and I am loving it!
I am only a beginner, but I like it  anyways :)
So excited with my first one that I made it at night, in bed, so no photos ...
This is for my love this Valentine's...
