Featured!

Hi!
I am taking a 5 minute break from my incredibly tiresome bathroom renovation - made by myself - to thank  Jennifer, from Scissors & Spatulas for featuring my Laminate Cabinet Makeover at her Pretty Things Thursdays Linky Party Features.
Laminate Cabinet Makeover

I love it so much and can't wait to put it back ( right now this beauty sleeps in the hallway) into the "new" bathroom after it is (finally) done!
And I can't wait to show you all either!

Thanks, Jennifer!

Summer in Pictures

Hi!
Our summer was, what can I say, incredible! For starters, the weather here was sooooo good, people say it was the best summer in this island in the last 30 years or so...
We enjoyed lots of time outdoors, and saw our girl  blossom more and more. She loves playing with us, with friends, loves nature and is a happy trooper, is joyful and excited with any adventure.
Once again we had attended the flower ceremony at the cemetery for our baby boy John Patrick and it was emotional as always. But also a reminder of God's love, mercy, and purposes.

Remembering John

She had wonderful  and fun moments with  her friends!

Looking forward now for the Fall, as we have a big big thing happening in a few days: Our Sofia is going to school!!

Camping on Signal Hill

Hi!
This  past weekend we went on a very fun program: we went camping at the top of Signal Hill,  the most famous hill in the city, a Canadian Historic Site.
It is an amazingly beautiful site, full of history and natural beauty, the weather was perfect and the night was magical, with songs, s'mores and camp fire.
We will be back next year!

Quatrefoil Wave

Hi!
Bathroom mini re-do again:
My latest favourite: Quatrefoil pattern. So. in. love.
This is it: I decided to integrate it to the walls. Just a hint of it.

I bought this stencil from Designer Stencils and I am prep myself ( and the walls, with primer and they were really dark) to the task ahead.
Will do one wall with the pattern. Instead of a very different background, like white, I decided to use the same colour, grey, but different finishes, gloss and one flat. Wish me luck. Keep tunned!
