Burlap Christmas Wreath

Hi!
This year I decided to use the same burlap wreath I used for Fall ,just updating the chevron bow          It is now red and not so pretty:(.
I also  added some Christmas bells. To make it more festive. Christmas is here!
Despite the sloppy job I did in the chevron,  I like it anyways:)

I tested on a small piece first. It worked!

An Old Case Revamped with Burlap

Hi!

A while ago, I bought his case, suitcase, cytlery box, I dunno exactly what it is, at my local most favourite thrift store in the whole wide world:).
I did not have a clue what to do with it tough, lol.
But I had my eye on that hardware, simply loved it (italian!!). Maybe reuse it and throuw the "box"away

Well, it had been forgotten in my house for months, when a trip to Michael's gave me the idea , finally, what to do with it.
Some of you who follow this blog know that I love to spray paint everything ! But somehow I did not want to spray pain this one.
When I saw this gorgeous burlap at Michael's I knew it!
$ 6.99! Nice price for an unique decor piece uh?
Cover it!! With spray (!!) adhesive, the job was done in no time.

I spray painted (!!haha!!) the hardware and the box?case? cutlery box? suitcase?
It  sits now in my living room, spreading its charm everywhere :)

Burlap Wreath

Hi!
I love wreaths, love making them for each season, and this year I wanted a burlap one. Well, I love burlap. This is why:)

Browsing for inspiration , I saw this on Etsy , fell in love , but resisted the urge to buy it, as it is a bit pricey ( but hey, I see now, it is a lot of work:) .

I  decided to make one.
By the way this shop has the most beautiful wreaths I have ever seen.

Material:
- Foam form from Michaels. Use your 50% cupon and you get it for $ 4.99. wink wink!
- Burlap - You wil need 1 yard. Cheap!
- Safety pins, I used the ones without the head. Lots of them.
- Scissors.

Star by making lots and lots of 5 " squares with the burlap

Fold in a rectangle ( lengthwise) and then as above.

Start attaching them to the foam with the safety pins. This is what I love about this, no glue, no mess, so clean looking!
It took me a good hour of ( not so hard) work, but so worthy!
My burlap wreath for Fall!!

Make a cute bow with whatever you like ( i used the burlap, but you can use any beautiful fabric, ribbon, you name it)

I may change the bow if I find cute painted burlap ..or paint some..let's see, will updated it for you girls, if this is the case:)

 Happy Fall!

 ****___________ ****

HEY!!! I decided to update it and  painted some burlap ( check here) in a chevron pattern. Some colour but still chic and rustic, I 'd say?

Felt Monogram Wreath-Fall/Christmas

Hi!

If you remember this fall wreath I made for myself a couple of weeks ago, you will know where this new one comes from.

Well, a dear friend of mine  asked me to make one for herm with her family name of course, and it got ready!
She wanted red, as it will last until Christmas!

I must say that the rosettes I made this time are much more pretty than mine, and I happy for this too!

So lovely! And she loved it too!
