Hi!
A while ago I found this desk lamp at a garage sale, in a very good condition and, for me I liked with extra love because I can see ( can you??) vintage 50's flair. It is metal, it works, but the brown colour it was too "colourless" to me.
Because it is going in the craft room, and I have accents in red among other colours, this was my choice for the "revamp of the lamp"!
First things first, so I primed it with my reliable and easy to use spray paint primer.
Next: 2 coats of Rustoleum red spray paint
It sits in my craft room now, and it gives a so needed spot light for me and my work station, oh, so much for around....6 bucks ? ( 3 for the lamp plus paint)... nothing can beat this!
Very cute! I love a pop of red as well. By the way, you "guys" on "The Rock" are coming a long weay! I just clicked on the link in your side margin for the blogs from Newfoundland, whoo! hoo! You go!
ReplyDeleteAndrea, the lamp is PERFECT! What a great deal!!! I bet the lighting is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing this at The DIY Dreamer.. From Dream To Reality! I can't wait to see what you link up this evening!
